Rituraj Singh, RIP

Rituraj Singh, the well-known television and film actor, passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 59. He made a name for himself for his work on screen, but he had started his acting career with theatre in Delhi. He worked with Barry John's Theatre Action Group for 12 years, before moving in Mumbai, reportedly on the suggestion of Shah Rukh Khan, who had also worked on stage in Delhi.

In Mumbai, Singh's theatre appearances were few and sporadic, having done plays like CLASS OF 84 and A MUGGY NIGHT IN MUMBAI.

He is survived by his wife Charu Singh and two children. MTG conveys sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
