Kreating Charakters presents Footlight Theater Festival - Call for entries

Kreating Charakters invites theatre groups and artists to submit their plays for consideration in the 2025 Theatre Festival, a celebration of theatrical excellence. The festival will be held from 7th - 9th February 2025 at their own premises.

Here's what you can achieve by performing your plays during the festival:
- To get an opportunity to perform on stage.
- Connect with experienced theatre professionals
- Receive recognition for your hard work and talent.

To be eligible for the Footlight Theatre Festival, your play must be:
- Original script or an adaptation of a classic work
- Play should be between 30 - 60 minutes' long
- Performed by a cast of no more than 10 actors
- Suitable for audiences aged 13 +

To enter the Footlight Theater Festival, you must submit your play script, cast list, crew list, synopsis, and contact information by January 15, 2025. There is an entry fee of Rs:500 for independent groups and Rs:300 for college groups (with a valid college ID). A panel of experts will evaluate the scripts, and the shortlisted plays will be notified via email or WhatsApp. Only the selected plays will be performed at the festival. The festival will be judged by actors Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Jaideep Ahlawat, and comedian Kanwarjit Paintal.
