The winners of the annual Sultan Padamsee Awards for Playwriting were announced on the final day of the Tate LitLive Festival, with readings from the award-winning plays.

The winner is Meera Sitaraman for her play ALL THAT MATTERS. Sharing the first runner-up prize are Ram Ganesh Kamatham for Terrarium - AN EPIC PERFORMANCE and Parashar Kulkarni for Cow & Court. For Kamatham it is a hat trick, after two previous winners, ULTIMATE KURUKSHATERA and UNDAUNTED. The second runner-up is Bettina Gracias for LHASA.

Congratulations to the winners, and let's hope their work will soon be seen on the stage in Mumbai and elsewhere.
