The IPTA Inter Collegiate Drama Competition reached a major milestone this year. The popular event celabrated its 50th edition by felicitating several people associated with IPTA over the years.

Six plays competed in the finals held at Ravindra Natya Mandir and the trophy for the Best Production went to GEHNA by Guru Nanak Khalsa College. The fable-like play about greed and redememption also won for female performances, direction, script and lights. The Second Best Production prize was won by BARAM from SVKM Mithibai College, which also won for male performance and set design. The production about an old man rediscovering his lost love was amazingly polished and would easily rival any professional play.
