Celebrating Sudha Karmarkar And Her Little Theatre...

Sudha Karmakar was a noted, award-winning Marathi theatre person and pioneer of the Little Theatre Movement for children in Maharashtra. She passed away on 5th February2018 at the age of 84. She won a lot of recognition for her work and intimately studied theatre for children. She presented several plays for children, MADHUMANJARI, among the first.
Colleagues and friends of Sudhatai shall remember her on 8th March 2018 in a special programme organised in her memory at Amar Hind Mandal at 6.30 pm.
The programme is organised by Amar Hind Mandal along with Mumbai MarathiSahitya Sangh, Goa Hindu Association, Natya Sampada and some other groups.
Speakers include Nivedita Saraf, Janhavi Panshikar, Kanchan Sontakke, LeelaHadap, Milind Karmarkar, Vijay Kenkre, Fayyaz, Ashok Samel and Arun Naik. Madhura Velankar-Satam and Tushar Dalvi shall present the programme and read selections from Sudhatai's articles.
Two short films on Sudhatai will be screened.
The programme is open to all.
The audience should be seated by 6.15 pm.
