Is the competition open to all ?
Yes, the competition is open to all colleges, amateur & professional theatre groups to participate in eNatya Shodh. The only qualifying criteria is that the entry should be a one-act play only.
Is there any entry fee to participate in eNatya Shodh ?
NO. The entry is free for all and unlimited participation is invited.
Can I have more than one play participate in eNatya Shodh ?
YES. Multiple entries can be sent for participation. However a separate entry form and a separate CD of each entry is required to be submitted.
What if I don't have a censor certificate from STAGE PERFORMANCE SCRUTINY BOARD ?
Censor certificate with no objection/DRM Number issued by respective state's stage performance scrutiny board is mandatory. Failing to provide so may hinder the final performance during the last day of festival.
What video formats are suggested for submitting the one act play entries at eNatya Shodh ?
MOV,MPEG4,AVI,WMV,MPEGPS,FLV, 3GPP, WebM
How I will be benefited from this competition ?
The competition intends to provide the widest possible coverage through online media promotion, global viewership, critical feedback/comments, resulting the play to get maximum exposure to its right audience. The competition also felicitates the winning entries through cash prizes. The competition will also provide the winners a life time 50-50 revenue sharing profits with MTG for their respective One-act plays only.
Will there be separate winning categories for different language ?
3 winners from each language will be qualified for final performance and award considerations; subject to minimum entries in each language should qualify to be 40 in number. In case the number of entries received are less in a particular language it would be combined evaluation with rest of the languages to adjudge the qualifier.
Will I be benefited from the competition even if I don't qualify as the final 3 entries ?
YES. The online media promotion rights will reside with MTG to promote viewership through their channel to generate revenue based out of LIKES, HITS & Viewership. Each entry will be entitled for a 50-50 revenue share between them & MTG subject to the video reaching the qualifying criteria of INR 2000/- as revenue (the statistical data & report of the viewership can be provided on demand or shall be automatically shared with the participants on regular basis as and when they meet the criteria.
From where do we get the Censor Certificate?
Censor Certificate for a play / theatre performance is issued by State Performances Scrutiny Board.
It is located at Administrative Building, Nariman Point. (Near Mantralaya)
