Elevate your storytelling skills with renowned storyteller, TEDx speaker, certified life coach, and Founder of The Secret Passages, Geetanjali Shetty Kaul.

The Secret Passages is a story telling community helmed by Geetanjali Shetty Kaul, which has been working in this space for over 10 years and it strongly believes in building a healthy social life by creating sharing-circles; to build this very fabric of communication within communities.

The main purpose is to empower individuals to discover their true potential, navigate their life's challenges, and create meaningful narratives through the transformative power of storytelling.

Program Details:

This comprehensive program is divided into four modules:

Module 1: The Art of Storytelling: Structure, Emotion, and Impact
- Objective: Understand the foundational elements of storytelling
- Key Points:
- The 3-act structure: Beginning, middle, and end
- The role of emotion and relatability in storytelling
- Crafting a strong hook and a memorable ending
- Examples of powerful stories and why they work
- Book-based storytelling: Adapting stories from books for engaging narration

Module 2: Storytelling Across Genres: Exploring Different Styles
- Objective: Learn how to tailor storytelling based on different genres
- Key Points:
- Understanding genres in storytelling (folktales, myths, fantasy, historical, real-life narratives, personal stories)
- Techniques for adapting stories based on genre
- Genre-based book recommendations and how to tell their stories
- Interactive exercise: Telling the same story in different genres

Module 3: Dramatic Storytelling: Voice, Tonality, and Body Language
- Objective: Bring stories alive through voice, expressions, and movement
- Key Points:
- How tonality and pacing influence storytelling
- The power of pauses and strategic silence
- Gestures, facial expressions, and movement for impact
- Practicing dramatic storytelling techniques (character voices, emotional depth)
- Storytelling exercises to enhance stage presence

Module 4: Meaning-Making in Storytelling: Creating Connection and Transformation
- Objective: Find deeper meaning in stories to connect with audiences
- Key Points:
- Why authenticity makes stories powerful
- Identifying personal themes and messages
- Using storytelling for personal growth and healing
- Book-based storytelling with personal reflections
- Practical exercises to create meaningful and immersive stories
