Pace Ceagan from the TRESTLE AT POPE LICK CREEK (from the ones I've played)

Not fair to comment on this.

An important play (but ignored):

A play character you would like to "dialogue" with...

Surpanakha

A passage from an important play that you can recite...

Which play is important? I can recite from my play SHIKHANDI because I have to perform it soon (#plugin2)- So I suppose that's important :)

The other 12 plays by Bhasa (other than URUBHANGA which I have read)

How do you regard the Mumbai/Indian theatre scene?

Doing the best we can with the resources we have and the limited support we get.

I broke my hand at the interval point of a show.

Can you think of a foreign production that you found remarkable? Why?

STRANGE CREATURES, an amazing physical piece by an Iranian group...for its visuals and its politics. PAYEEZ also an Iranian play for its politics. Enjoyed also THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME (National Theatre) for its style and form and THE DROWNED MAN, an immersive theatre piece by Punchdrunk

A significant Indian production that you may have witnessed....

AHALIYA performed by Usha Nangiar

Life in the theatre without the humble batata-wada or the cutting chai... or can you recall the best gastronomic experience you’ve had in the precincts of the theatre to date?

I don't eat or drink when I work. But Sachin Kamani's neembu paani and amla juice are amazing
