It has a contemporary approach and personally I like black comedies. The play raises innumerable questions about the fundamentals of relationships & companionship. Does this confusion end with self realization? Are we afraid of reality? Is the virtual reality more comfortable?It is really interesting to see how the narrative evolves through the characters. Your favourite adda to see a play... There are quite a few but I would pick Prithvi. Your favourite playwright... Again, there are way too many good playwrights, especially in regional languages. Some of my favourites are Chandrakant Shah, George Bernard Shaw, Anton Chekov, and Maxim Gorky. The most hilarious play you have ever seen... WHITE LILY AANI NIGHT RIDER A play you would like to see filmed. Why? Again, WHITE LILY AANI NIGHT RIDER�it will be pretty splendid to see how the play can be adapted to a movie. A novel/short story you would like to see on stage? Why? Jaya- A modern interpretation of the Mahabharata and how the same can be linked to today�s corporates and politicians. There are many plays, actually, which have proved to be torch bearers. Can�t name them all...... How do you regard the Mumbai theatre scene? It is good, but can get better. There was a mime competition that I had attended. A reputed theatre director was appreciating the concept of one of the performances, stating it was a beautiful depiction of child molestation and how we need to get rid of it.
