At the heart of the play are two main characters: Philips, symbolizing the protagonist's logical and calculated left brain atop a six-foot ladder, and Champak, representing the emotional and instinctual right brain. The story begins with the protagonist's birth and spans into his forties. Throughout, he confronts a pivotal choice: follow his left brain or his right. Amid significant life decisions, he wrestles with intense conflicts between these hemispheres, seeking guidance from Philips and Champak who engage the audience to influence the storyline based on popular vote. A female actor portrays crucial roles-mother, lover, and wife-deepening the narrative. Actors intermittently break the fourth wall, offering insights into the play's mechanics. Beyond the surface, the play explores the protagonist's cerebral hemispheres and metaphorically links leftist philosophies with the left brain and right-wing ideologies with the right. Each audience's collective decision shapes the protagonist's path, ensuring a unique experience at every show and prompting self-reflection on personal tendencies toward logic or emotion.
