VARTA VARTA VADHE Story :

The play is a story of a remote village, where even getting proper network connectivity is a huge task. One fine day, the villagers come across miserable news which baffles each and every one of them. There has to be some way to get out of that situation, doesn’t it? But it looks like there are no options left.

In this journey, of finding the escape route, the play sheds light on the real-life struggles of a common villager. It goes on to cover the everlasting social issues such as gender bias where women are suppressed and are given a subordinate status, caste-based bias, lack of literacy and education, needless superstitions, and so on.

Facing the dire situation, villagers have to tackle all these issues. How do they get rid of such beliefs? Can they even find a way beyond all this? How does this influence their simple yet complicated lives? There are a lot of such dangling questions that this comic social satire play unfolds in front of us!
