A contemporary story that dons the garb of a mystery. This mystery has people in it. Some who are honourable and others who aren't. Their irrational behaviour causes extraordinary complications. Truth and falsehood get so finely entwined that a haze envelopes life. A peculiar hyper-reality is, in fact, a sign of our times ! This story creates that hyper-reality. The protagonist of the story, Baabi, has recently begun to write mysteries. He is attempting to finish a story that his uncle, a mystery writer, has left incomplete. Who committed the murder ? Why was the murder committed and what was the purpose ? He gets entangled in these questions. As he begins to look for answers, he suspects everybody around him to be murderers. This fearsome appearance of society is enigmatic to him. This is a story of the times that we inhabit.
