Sangit "Saint Tukaram" (Saint Tukarama), the Marathi play, is written by Mr. Babajirao Rane. The author belongs to Rajapur, Konkan region, Maharashtra. He staged the play "Sant Tukaram" in 1912 with his Rajapurkar Natak Mandali. This play, "First Authentic," at Marathi Theatre, became very popular then. The play glorifies the greatness of the Tukoba-Shivrai meeting, attacks on Buwabaji (sanctimony), and Tukoba's exhortation to Shivba. It is a guide to accountability for both today's rulers and citizens. "Om Natyagandha," who has been producing various plays for the past 40 years, has produced SantTukaram," which is a delightful blend of enlightenment and entertainment.
