The play is based on the novel "Samudra" written by Milind Bokil.
Bhaskar and Nandini are now married for over a decade. They have a child who studies in a boarding school. A long, overdue vacation brings them to a seaside resort. Being weekdays, the find themselves to be the only occupants. What seems to be a romantic getaway takes a very unexpected turn when Nandini confesses of her affair with her now estranged friend Ganesh. That whole night Bhaskar and Nandini’s marriage goes through a 360 degree turmoil. Fury, helplessness, coming –to- terms - all the emotions surface and resurface like sea waves, leading towards a final realisation that takes place on a mountain top.
