Franz Kafka is considered one of the most important writers in the literary world. In his short life of 41 years, Kafka wrote short & long stories, novels. He also wrote numerous letters and kept journals Kafka's letters to Felice and Milena are not just love letters, but they speak on many broader aspects of Kafka's life. They are autobiographical but have a fluidity of emotions. They portray not only his love for writing but also his self-introspection. His letter to his father is personal and very intimate, their thoughts, relationship struggles are representative of generation and have a wider social context.
