Way back in 1955, All India Radio broadcast a collection of 56 Marathi songs describing the stories of the Ramayana. Written by acclaimed poet Ga Di Madgulkar and rendered by famed singer Sudhir Phadke, the songs were hailed for their literary as well as musical appeal by every Maharashtrian. Who can forget songs like Kush Lava Ramayan Gaat, Paradheen Ahe Jagati Putra Manavacha or Setu Baandha Re Saagari?

This evergreen musical bonanza is reinvented as a dance ballet coupled with live singing and music by various gifted singers and instrumentalists.
