However, it is equally challenging for their relatives and caregivers, who must watch their loved ones slip into oblivion right before their eyes. This painful journey is distressing, as cherished memories gradually fade away, making it more challenging for the observer than for the sufferer.
Such a topic has always posed a challenge for playwrights-an eternal challenge. From Shakespeare's King Lear to Shirwadkar's Natsamrat, themes of memory loss have subtly appeared. Dramatists like Zeller have created entire plays around this theme, as seen in The Father.
