Akshay is a queer Lavani dancer who is male and takes on an impersonation of a woman on stage. Akshay wants to express his femininity and attraction to men through Lavani but prefers to retain his original male identity off stage. The show includes a 50 min Lavani Workshop by Gauri Jadhav & Akshay Malvankar who will demonstrate a man-woman Lavani number. We will teach duet Lavani to the participants. After interval, there is a short play narrating the love-story of our cross-dresser Lavani artist Akshay Malvankar along with his Lavani performance.
