What is the biggest speciality of Konkan other than Alfonso mangoes? Well, its myriad fairs and jatras that attract hordes of devotees. This play is set against the backdrop of one such jatra - in Aanganewadi. A mother-son duo visit this jatra. The son, Bunty is a small time thief and his mother is visiting the jatra only in the hope that her errant son will reform. She pleads to the goddess that Bunty will mend his ways. Just then the treasure box of the local temple is looted. While the villagers suspect the priest who is in dire need of money for his mother's operation, what is Bunty's role in this scene? Is he the real culprit? Or is he the saviour who returns the money to the box? Will the priest be set free? A suspense play with an interesting twist.
