Misunderstanding – Samsaaradalli Sa.Ni.Da.Pa, is a play originally written by Dario Fo as ‘The Virtuous Burglar’. It was translated to Kannada by K.V.Akshara. The play depicts a range of events that occur when a burglar ends up with rather more company than he bargained for on his latest ‘shopping trip’. It is an enjoyable relationship farce in which three married couples are paired in almost every possible permutation during the course of the play, with the highest possible degree of misunderstanding between them. Mistaken identity, extra-marital affairs, thwarted passion, and unfortunate coincidences make this play a fun, light-hearted comedy.
