TILL KA TAAD Story :

"तिल का ताड़" is a humorous and satirical play by Shankar Shesh. The story revolves around a young working man, Prannath, who pretends to be "married" just to rent a house because the landlord insists on renting only to married tenants.

Things get complicated when the landlord and neighbors start taking an interest in his "married life" and begin asking questions about his wife. To keep up with his lie, Prannath seeks help from his friends, leading to a series of funny and chaotic situations. As one small lie leads to another, the situation keeps getting bigger and more uncontrollable, just like turning a tiny seed into a giant tree (which is what the title तिल का ताड़ means).

The play cleverly mocks society's obsession with appearances and how people often tell small lies that eventually trap them in bigger problems. With simple yet witty language, "तिल का ताड़" not only makes the audience laugh but also highlights the consequences of dishonesty and the unnecessary complications created by social norms.
