THANK YOU MR. GLAD Story :

Thanks, Mr. Glad is a Marathi novel, which depicts the story of Mr. Glad, a Marxist revolutionary and Anglo-Indian jailer who is imprisoned. It is set in the original Naxalite movement era. Doctor-turned-Naxalist Virbhushan Patnaik is given a death sentence for killing several policemen. He is to be kept in Rajahmundry Central Jail for a year before being hanged.

The prison superintendent is a British Mr. Glad, who has been living in India since the end of World War II.

During the year, because of Patnaik, the process of transformation in Mr. Glad's interactions with the Naxalites is seen.
