This play begins with an unmarried Lady who unravels her past relationship with a married man. Keeping this as a seed for future learning for most young women she tries to warn them about the consequences of such a situation.
Amidst the lady’s eight year long affair with an Income tax officer , Mr. Shinde or ‘Shinde Sahib’ (as addressed here)who cautiously plays around with her on marriage and maintains a tight lipped attitude on his first marriage, troubles her to a large extent.
And Yet, In this Piece , Through Farce , using the medium of a mentor /teacher, through her playful attitude or by becoming the narrator herself , The lady shares her feelings and state of mind in her own Satirical manner.
