In Bhendi Bazaar, Mumbai stands Noor Mahal crumbling but still holding steadfast in this city of dreams and lending a distinct character to the life of Bade Abba, its patriarch who is 99 years, 3 months and 13 days old. It is the intense wish of Fakruddin, Bade Aaba’s man Friday that Bade Aaba live up to a 100yrs. and more. Although Bade Aaba’s three sons share this sentiment, they can hardly extricate themselves from their busy businesses and lives in different parts of the city! It is left entirely to Fakruddin to handle the stubborn and sprightly 99 year old along with the barbs and taunts of the sons and their wives. As Fakhruddin struggles to ensure that his master lives to see his 100th Birthday, the odds turn against him...but there is a secret he cannot share and for his peace of mind and integrity, Bade Abba must live to a hundred years....
