"गुलाब, पंखुड़ी और डंठल" begins in a comical manner, like the storms of a normal middle class couple. In which the hero accuses the heroine of doubting her love, due to which the basic emotion of humor is seen to be expressed as a viewer.
The story of the play is centered on a famous film director Raj Mundra. Raj doubts his wife Simran and his wife threatens to go to her parents` house to save herself. Meanwhile, there is such a banter between husband and wife, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, master and maid that an atmosphere of laughter is created.
The story revolves around the ongoing interview, the dialogues taking place in the interview and the coming and going of other characters in between creates a disruption in the conversation of the main character
