The play GORAKHDHANDA written by Jayvardhan and directed by Swaraj Singh is a witty satire that explores themes of deception and morality. It follows the misadventures of a cunning property dealer and his equally sly servant, who make a living by illegally renting out government houses. Their schemes, which include posing as fake police officers and creating absurd situations to extort money from tenants, take a hilarious turn when they encounter Geeta, a sharp and resourceful tenant. Unlike others, Geeta confronts their antics, leading to a series of chaotic and comedic events culminating in a humorous climax that challenges the characters' schemes and actions.
