Doosra Aadmi Doosri Aurat”, the Hindi play explored the psychological and emotional complexities of those engaged in the extramarital relationship with subtleties.

Written by Maithili author Vibha Rani, directed by Rajesh Bakshi, the play’s plot revolved around one Shoma Das who moves to Mumbai for a job and is attracted to office colleague Sambhav Singh. The feeling of stagnation in their respective married lives brings them together. The slow realization that she is “just-another-women” for Sambhav makes Soma hysterical. The relationship which shone only for a time starts fading. The play ends with Shoma getting back to her own life, where she discovers joy and satisfaction in her responsibility towards her daughter and ends up looking upon Sambhav, nothing more but a friend.
