An auto parts warehouse in Kashmiri Gate. It's the morning of yet another tedious Monday. A young man, earning his living loading axles and sweeping floors, harbours dreams of a college education and a better life. In the meantime, his more jaded co-workers stumble through the workday in a haze of hopelessness. One of them seeks refuge in poetry, another in alcohol. The action in the play, which has several comic moments, takes place over the course of two Mondays.

Directed by Sanjiv Agarwal, this Hindi play is based on a little-known gem by Arthur Miller, "A Memory of Two Mondays". The original play was set in a Brooklyn warehouse during America's Great Depression in the 1930s and was based on the playwright's own experiences of that era and the "insecurity of modern existence". The play was first staged in 1955, and was later adapted by Miller for an ITV broadcast in 1959 and a 1971 television movie.

The play has been adapted into Hindi and set in contemporary India by Dramatech's Umesh Vyas and the production's ensemble cast. This is the first time this play is being staged in Delhi. In Miller's own words, he has "never written anything with greater love".
