Written by Jaanpeeth awardee Nirmal Verma, this famous play is about an old man, who like many others, was scarred by World War II. He lived a simple life which was rudely disturbed when his wife was arrested by the Gestapo for anti Nazi activities. After fifteen years, sitting in a bar, he narrates his story.
