Musafir, a young out of work poet, tenant of 11 years has been living in a small out-house next to the Baagheecha at the behest of the previous owners. As ownership changes hands, Balwant (the new owner) decides to give him a month’s notice. The notice leaves Musafir feeling helpless as he cant get himself to depart from his beloved Baagheecha. The constant probe into his identity by Balwant doesn’t help his case either. Its Sana (Balwant’s daughter) who picks Musafir’s attachment to the courtyard up with her father questioning his reason for acquiring the extra space
