AAROHI

AAROHI is about the eponymous kathak dancer born in the rich tradition of the Lucknow gharana and is the daughter of Pandit Banwarilal and Firozy begum. She is cheerful, bubbly and falls in love with the debonair Inderjeet, who is also a kathak dancer. Life takes a turn when she marries him and finds herself distorted by his vile ways. She finds herself torn between her guilt and the deception by the man she loved. The struggle and the challenge to break free from her past becomes her journey in which she also realises she must find her own path.
