OKA BOKA TILOKA

Oka, Boka and Tiloka are three friends who live amidst nature. Their life is simple. One day a woman in need of help comes into their world and things change. Gradually one by one they fall in love with her. But she wants one of them to go back with her to her world. Boka falls for the bait and despite repeated warnings and resistance from his friends, he leaves for the forbidden world. Many years pass.

The two friends continue with their lives, yet they miss Boka. One fine day, to their pleasant surprise, Boka returns. But he is a transformed person and wants his primitive friends to change and develop. He shows them what all he can do to make their lives comfortable, meaningful and fruitful by way of modernization, governance and society. The two friends have never heard of these things before. Eventually they find themselves as aliens in their own world.

They are left with two options- first, to compromise and accept the new reality, or second, to leave it in search of another world, which they can call their own.

OKA BOKA TILOKA is a musical with a tragicomic take on what is happening to our world and environment in the name of development and modernisation.
