A drama in Hindustani with melodious music. The two characters 'Sahir' and 'She' take us through the love saga of the great poet Sahir Ludhianvi. Beyond this, the script narrates India's historical events in the mid twentieth century, following the second World War, our Independence, the Partition and the havoc it wreaked. Sahir's unique poetry, unforgettable songs, beautiful quotes are the backbone of this play. His love poems were tinged with sorrow, with the realization that there are stark realities more important than romantic love. Tom Alter plays Sahir Ludhianvi.
