In a time of global anxiety, terrorism, erratic weather and political unrest, a young couple want a child but are running out of time. If they over think it, they'll never do it. If they rush it might be a disaster. They want to have a child for the right reasons....Except what exactly are the right reasons?

Lungs is an intimate conversation thought out loud. The play spans one long conversation over several years. Its agonised back and forth between a couple deciding whether or not to have children was the playwright's attempt to wrestle with some of his own anxieties.
