LOVE AND BE SILENT

LOVE AND BE SILENT

By MTG editorial

Theatre lovers in Mumbai are in for a treat as Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy King Lear takes the stage in a production that blends the rich storytelling of Shakespeare with the expressive art of Eurythmy, a European movement-based theatre form making its mark in India. This is performed by the first batch of Eurythmists trained by Eurythmy India , who come from India, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka in collaboration with Mumbai actors and classical musicians from Pune. Live sitar and tabla pieces with piano compositions by György Sándor Ligeti and Sergei Rachmaninoff provide a scintillating musical setting throughout.
