Vijay Tendulkar's famous and controversial play in Marathi - SAKHARAM BINDER was first staged in 1972.

The play revolves around the protagonist Sakharam, who has no qualms about keeping women without marrying them. His relationships with his women are purely contractual. But when he gets involved with Lakshmi and later with Champa, both the women bring his self-made world crumbling down.
