Play description by Barry Richardson on May 9 2020 1:05AM  (IST) I am not commenting on the performance, but on the description. What is missing is the fact that the play, as written by Ayckbourn, is located in the UK in the time of Thatcherism. It is written to be funny, but is also a satire on monetarism and the “get rich quick at any cost” mentality that the Thatcher government encouraged. Reply |  Report Abuse
