Thoughts on the show

I watched this show yesterday, and it clearly wasn't for me ... I don't understand Urdu and hence . But the production quality is nothing ... 3 carpets with one lamp and there !
There were mosquitoes biting my feet off and the air conditioning wasn't even switched on... Using a flier for a fan... I sat thru this dull ordeal... Only coz I have a lot of respect for theatre and performances ! But this one was truly below average.
I had a large group with me and some of em great lovers of Urdu poetry... But even they did not seem to relish this.
The actors looked bored themselves, the only performance worth watching were the 3 men standing as guards at the back for 90 minutes - absolutely still- admirable ... But under utilised, under valued performers.
There I said it.
