PRINCE IGOR by Borodin...An opera screening by the NCPA in collaboration with the MET in New York...

PRINCE IGOR is an opera in four acts with a prologue composed by Alexander Borodin. The composer adapted the libretto from the East Slavic epic The Lay of Igor's Host, which recounts the campaign of Russian prince Igor Svyatoslavic against the invading Polovtsian tribes in 1185.

The screening of the opera is courtesy the NCPA and the Metropolitan Opera Theatre (MET) in New York.
