Gujarati actor Kishore Bhatt Passes Away�

Kishore BhattKishore Bhatt, a senior Gujarati stage artiste who also worked in other mediums such as the film and television passed away on 21st October 2005. He had begun his acting career at the inter-collegiate drama competition held by Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan. His first full-length Gujarati play KADAM MILAKE CHALO by INT won him the Best Actor award by the Gujarat government. He was also awarded for his work in many Gujarati films such as �Tana Riri�, �Liludi Dharti�, �Kanku�, etc,

He was the first artiste to appear on TV in a Gujarati serial and was a regular artiste of Door Darshan�s famous programme �Aavo Mari Sathe�. Popularly known for his characterization of Karsan Kaka, Kishore Bhatt had quite a fan following. He was last seen in a Gujarati play AAGMAN directed by Girish Desai.
