JASWANDI is a modern and moving tragedy of a stifled housewife who is grappling with her circumstances. Sonia's husband, a busy businessman has no time for her, and her loneliness leads her to an affair with a younger man, that can only lead to more heartache. The narrators are two young men who don't wear masks or body suits but adopt feline mannerisms to play the role of tom cats (bokya).
