This is a hard hitting play about corrupt bureaucracy, the people who are caught in red-tape and how their very existence is threatened by the vagaries of the bureaucratic system.
Madho Singh, a helpless retired government servant finds that his pension has not been reaching him because he has been some how declared dead in the records. After running from pillar to post - wherein he encounters all kinds of corrupt public servants - when he does manage to get a certificate proclaiming his 'living status', he finds his name mis-spelt!
What follows is a series of bizarre twists & turns, which ends on an ironic note.
