"....the game we play is let's pretend and pretend we're not pretending...we choose to forget who we are and forget that we've forgotten..." - Bernard Gunther
WHO LET THE DOGS OUT is a situational comedy about a group of young theatre enthusiasts rehearsing a play. While doing so, the actors are lost and confused as to who is playing whom and who is the real director, as opposed to the actor playing the director, or vice versa. Then, they can't seem to remember who they really are, as opposed to the people they are playing in any of the various scripts. The play constantly switches in and out of the actors' real and reel life, thereby, creating confusion and chaos among audience. Simultaneously, the play captures the life of actors in a play production through the various emotions of love, hatred, jealousy, fear, depression, exhilaration, pride, sadness etc. in situations of chaos, celebrations, fights, politics, challenge, danger and so on!
