Ruling the roost of professional Marathi theatre are a select number of production companies, and Suyog has been among the foremost. On Thursday, November 14 2013, its famous founder Sudhir Bhat passed away. He died of a heart attack at Hinduja hospital.
Sudhir Bhat, who was a Builder by profession, found Suyog in 1985 and steadily and surely established himself in the front ranks of the Marathi theatre industry.He was a savvy businessman, unfazed by criticism. His company went on to stage several box-office hits such as TI PHOOLRANI, MORUCHI MAVSHI, EK LAGNA CHI GOSHTA and CHAR DIVAS PREMACHE and consistently worked with actors like Vikram Gokale, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Prashant Damle.
