Stageplayers Theatre Productions Present 'Bestsellers'...

BESTSELLERSStagePlayers Theatre Productions has planned a monthly activity of reading plays by some of the finest playwrights in the world. But these will be performed readings, and the group will meet on the last Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Experimenting with theatre and literature, the upcoming reading will be of Vijay Tendulkar's only English play HIS FIFTH WOMAN on 25th September 2011.

There are two rounds- at 7 and then 8 pm.

Venue: The Hive, Bunglow No. 20-H, Behind Advanced Hair Studio, Opposite China Blue Restaurant, Kantwadi, Bandra (West)
The reading has been directed by Pritesh Sodha.

About the HIS FITH WOMAN
HIS FIFTH WOMAN is a prequel of SAKHARAM BINDER in which Tendulkar talks about Sakharam and his fifth woman. Sakharam, a bookbinder, picks up other men's discarded women-castoff wives who would otherwise be homeless, destitute or murdered with impunity-and takes them in as domestic servants and sex partners.

About Stage Players
Stage players Theatre Productions is a four year old group, run by Pankaj Singh who studied acting in Delhi with Asmita group. He has trained under Arvind Gaur. Pankaj Singh has directed plays like PAGLA GHODA and BARAMASI and has also acted in them. The group is soon planning to stage Tendulkar's HIS FIFTH WOMAN.
