PLATFORM PERFORMANCE-THESPO

Thespo 13 - one of India's foremost youth theatre festivals is to take place from 13 to 18 December 2011 at the Prithvi & NCPA Theatres. It is now on the lookout for short performances to be staged at the festival. Multi-lingual full length plays are the flagship event, but the festival also hosts a variety of workshops, live band performances, film screenings and the publication of its much awaited annual magazine.

Thespo is offering this opportunity of staging short performances of 20minutes in non-formal spaces like a parking lot, cafe, foyer, etc. These Platform Performances are all about breaking the formal barriers of staging and approaching the audience directly and more intimately. The exchange is to be more effective, usually loud and larger than life, be it street plays, monologues, dance drama, shadow theatre, performance poetry - this is your 'Platform'.

If you think you can 'Break the Barrier' [email protected]

Or call on +91 9867562859.

The last date of registration for Platform Performance at Thespo 13 is 20th October, 2011.
