Award to Dinesh Thakur...Watch Two of Ank's Plays at Prithvi Theatre...

Dinesh Thakur of Ank Productions was awarded with the V. Shantaram Lalit Kala Hindi Vishisht Sewa Award by the Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akademi on 14th September 2011. The award was presented by Shri Vishwanath Sachdeva in a ceremony at the Sachivalay Gymkhana presided over by the Minister of Culture, Shri Sanjay Devtale. Dinesh Thakur says, "I am greatful for the honor bestowed on me. It reaffirms my belief that theatre will always have the potential to create an impact."

Ank will be performing two of its plays this weekend at Prithvi Theatre:

Rang Bajrang

15th October 2011 at 6 and 9 pm (two shows)

Hai Mera Dil

More than 1000 shows performed. Ank's longest running Hindi comedy.
