The Park's New Festival Comes To Mumbai...A Festival Of Cutting Edge Contemporary Performing Arts...

The Park's New Festival edition by the Chennai based Prakriti Foundation is set to inaugurate its Mumbai chapter on 9th September 2011 at the Blue Frog in Lower Parel. 'Universal Hip-Hop Reborn'by DNOAX, is a high energy concert with over 15 rappers from different regions of the world that redefines and challenges common misconception of Hip Hip as the music of drugs, cash, cars, clothes and bling. This event is open to all at the Blue Frog and will begin at 7 pm.

On 10th September, the NCPA Experimental Theatre, Nariman Point will present 'The Non Stop Car-Food-Clothes-Feel-Good-Show' by Maya Krishna Rao at 7 pm. This is an extravagantly funny show on an unstoppable woman who seeks the best clothes, food, car, lifestyle...to make her life more meaningful, and yours, vicariously. A Vismayah Production. Tickets available at the NCPA.

The Parijat Desai Dance Company's (Contemporary Dance) 'Make Space' explores electronic music by South Asian American artists with dynamic modern dance and classical footwork rhythms and 'Songs to Live For' interpreting sublime Hindustani love songs. Blended performances of Indian classical and Western contemporary dance. Invitees only. On 12th September at the NCPA Experimental Theatre at 7:00 pm.
